Job shadowing in Ruda Slaska (Poland)

Del 11 al 17 de Marzo, una profesora del IES El Caminàs visitó dos centros educativos en la localidad de Ruda Slaska en Polonia. Esta acción queda enmarcada dentro del proyecto al que queremos dar difusión a través de este blog, siendo ésta la última de las 6 movilidades realizadas.

 

El instituto receptor ha sido la escuela de secundaria Morcinek, donde hemos establecido contacto con el profesorado a través de experiencias Erasmus previas. Allí se nos permitió entrar a las aulas durante las clases y se nos invitó a hablar sobre nuestro sistema educativo, nuestro país, nuestra cultura, etc. La interacción con los alumnos fue muy interesante; se mostraron muy atentos y amables. 

El job shadowing supone una excelente oportunidad para conocer cómo se organizan las clases en otro centro educativo y contrastar con el funcionamiento del nuestro. También para establecer paralelismos entre nuestro país y Polonia tomada como ejemplo de un estado miembro de la Unión Europea.

También se nos abrieron las puertas de la escuela de Primaria Podstawowa nr 20, cuya directora ha jugado un papel importantísimo en este encuentro, siendo la pieza clave para hacer de esta semana una valiosa y memorable experiencia.

La relación con los profesores anfitriones ha sido enormemente satisfactoria, habiendo compartido todo tipo de información profesional, lo que ayuda a ampliar y reforzar los principios y valores que rigen la acción docente desde un enfoque elemental y universal.

Between the 11th and the 17th of March, a teacher from IES El Caminàs visited two schools in Ruda Slaska (Poland). This action is framed in the project that we want to broadcast trought this blog and this is the last of the six mobilities developed.

 

The school receptor has been the Secondary School Morcinek, where we established contact with some teachers thanks to previous Erasmus experiences. Once there, we had permission to enter the classrooms in order to observe and we were also invited to speak about our educational system, our country, our culture, etc. The interaction with the students was very interesting; they were really attentive and kind. We were also invited to visit the Primary School Podstawowa nr 20, whose headmistress has played an important rol in this meeting, being the key to make of this week a very valuable and memorable experience.

The job shadowing means an excellent opportunity to get to know how other schools arrange the lessons and to contrast wiht the organization of ours. It is also very useful to make comparisons between our country and Poland as an example of a member State of the European Union.

The relationship with the teachers has been enourmously satisfying, having shared all kind of professional information, what helps to consolidate the main principles and values that govern the education from an elemental and universal perspective.
